Resources - Privacy Law White Paper
This is the downloadables page for my white paper on privacy law in the United States. I wrote the paper in 2022 having spent nearly a year researching what was happening with emerging state privacy law and considering how nonprofits could benefit from the lessons learned from GDPR implementation in the UK. The paper includes a case study on how one US organization got out in front of good data handling practices. My thanks to friends and colleagues who helped me write this paper - for Matt Bain being a willing case study participant and colleagues (and one family member!) who took the time to proof read and contribute their thoughts.
